I got out to Centerton, Arkansas to tell a little story of Home Valet’s very cool smart box, which surely will revolutionize home delivery of goods for today’s busy multitaskers. I openly marveled at its design and COO, Jack Simms was on hand to field my engineering questions, haha.
This is a film I made just for fun from some b-roll footage I shot recently in Southwest Missouri for a documentary project I worked on. I can’t remember where I got the music from, but I think it works. This is actually the first monochrome film I’ve ever made. As a kid photographer, everything I did was black & white and I’m really starting to appreciate it again.
Spent a brisk day outdoors last week with director Jason Jurewicz crafting footage for a few law firm spots at the Holland Hills Country Club. After two months of cancelled shoot dates due to weather and yes even a coronavirus infection, we finally squeaked by and got’re done.
Got back out to Apple Rubber to grab some quality b-roll and attempt some indoor drone action, which is always an adventure. I chose the Parrot Anafi from my ever growing fleet of drones and managed in 10 minutes to get some usable footage that would have normally taken a few hours to accomplish with a dolly, track, and jib. Yeeesss, I love technologeeee…
Got a 2nd chance to destroy (in a good way) another concept with director, Eric Frick for new dream client, Niagara Label. Great weather, our A-team crew, 3 shoot days, and viola! Plus we shot more than enough footage for a rainy day. And they’re still letting me pick the music, ha!
Just got word that Posted has been accepted into the Seattle True Indy Film Festival and Louisville’s Indy Festival of Film. Still waiting for a local premiere in Buffalo which could possibly happen in the next few months.
Spent a week at F!sher-Price shooting content for their YouTube channel and getting to know some of the characters that populate the Thomas & Friends world.
This is a short documentary piece featuring a mom and pop bakery in Niagara Falls, NY called The Little Bakery. I joined forces with director Eric Frick and producer Nikki Styliades Howze in an effort to tell their story of immense generosity over the past 4 difficult months.
The owners of the bakery, Samantha Bassett and Jay Conte, have donated about 3,600 pizzas and about that many loaves of bread from mid March to mid July when this video was released.
Eric and I decided to tell their Covid-19 era story after discovering the immense support they had in their community and we were blown away when we interviewed them in their home.
Just spent a few days with director Eric Frick crafting some fun interview and b-roll footage for Niagara Label, a great local company doing big things. Editing this was so much fun.
