Spent a week in Florida amongst the awesome weather (think Buffalo, NY in June) shooting some footage for New Era Cap with my bestest crew friends. We got to break in the new Marlins Park stadium while breaking in my new Red Epic (whoot!) and tried out some top secret technological breakthroughs in cutting edge cinematography. Coming soon…

Just spent two days at WNED’s main studio shooting footage for M&T Bank on the new Red Epic Dragon camera with the ridiculous Optimo 24-290mm zoom lens. Can’t wait to see the work on TV!

I had a hand in creating elements used in Apple Rubber‘s new website (still images and video) and I have to say (as a major website critic), I dig the clean design and sensible functionality.

Got back to the clean room at Apple Rubber recently to shoot load of clips for their new website being conjured up by the creative geniuses at Quinlan Advertising and even unexpectedly got to see a tearsheet from German trade paper DeviceMed with a portrait I shot of Apple Rubber’s “Leiter Materialverwaltung.” 

Got out of the house today after a marathon week of editing to shoot some high speed flying flag tests for M&T Bank with director/producer, John Takacs from DPost. Dig those fans!

This is the 3rd of three Peter Cumbo directed pieces I shot for New Era Cap with Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch at the Rose Bowl Stadium late last June:

I shot these spots recently for excellent director Richard Kaufman from Goodspot in Los Angeles who flew up to work with Lauren Fix The Car Coach at her Ford Mustang filled garage. It was really fun working with Lauren and Richard but I hope they let us touch the cars next time.

I had a good time on the cinematography panel at the Buffalo Film Expo a few days ago and even managed to be 1/2 of a Gear Talk panel with excellent steadicam operator, Tom Wills. We geeked out pretty hard until I had to run off and do a tech scout. Work, work, work…
